Adelaide to Sanur

Our flight was in the afternoon, so we were able to spend the day at home getting ready. Peter dropped Robin, Suzy and I off at the airport. When we checked in, the lady upgraded our seats to extra legroom seats, and blocked the vacant seat next to us so we had the row of three. It came in very handy, as Robin didn’t want to sleep for most of the flight.

When we arrived, we expected our prearranged driver to meet us, but they were nowhere to be seen. Instead, we had to get a taxi to the hotel at Sanur. Luckily that was only $25, instead of the quoted $36.

The “hotel” was pretty scummy, but we didn’t expect much for $20 a night. We did expect clean sheets – oh how I wish we would report that they were clean. The rooms were filthy, and the whole set up was pretty bad. We had booked two rooms, with breakfast, and they only had one room, no breakfast on their records. Luckily I had printed out the booking and could show them what we paid for.
