Tulum > Cancun

We got up early and packed up, ready to head for Cancun. I had a pretty bad night with the flu, as did Sam. Peter doesn’t seem to be too bad, and Robin is fine except for a runny nose, a little cough and his spots. Because I’m breastfeeding, I can’t take anything for it.<\/p>\n

Sam drove us back to Cancun, and to the intercontinental hotel. Once we arrived and checked into the hotel, Peter, Robin and I went for a swim in the pool. Sam had a nap, and was feeling pretty ill. After our swim, Robin and I needed a sleep as well. Sam had to go drop the rental car off, and then catch a taxi back. It turned into a bit of an ordeal with a guy in a van taking him to a taxi and some miscommunication about transfers.<\/p>\n

Once Sam got back, we all went to the beach together, and then to the pool. It was really lovely and the water was very warm. Robin really has a preference for the pool over the ocean!<\/p>\n

Sam was starting to feel really sick, and had to miss dinner. He stayed in bed while Peter, Robin and I went out to a beachside seafood restaurant. It was a really lovely evening and a nice way to finish off the holiday.<\/p>\n
