Today Tania came to visit and had a very generous present for Robin from her publishers! They have given Robin possum magic books and a toy possum! Very kind indeed. We also received another lovely book & teddy from a lady named Regan who works with Granny Suzy. Robin is being spoiled not just by Us, but also by people we don’t even know! On the subject of presents, we received a package from Target, containing a baby bath, baby clothes and play mat, but we don’t know who it is from! Please let us know if you sent it, so we can say thank you properly.<\/p>\n

Robin put on another 50gms, and his feed has been upped to 11mls an hour. He seemed very stable today, with hardly any desats and no Brady or apnea events. Tania commented that his face is looking a lot chubbier now, and she can certainly notice the difference from her previous visit.<\/p>\n

Nicki & Peter got the opportunity to give him a wash today, normally something the nurses do. We used Johnson’s baby wash and warm water to give him a wipe down with a damp cloth. Not quite his first bath, but certainly more than we have done in the past. We then weighed him, with Peter expertly (with some instruction from the now experienced Nicki) disconnecting his monitors and lifting Robin up to place him on the scale.<\/p>\n

After his wash and weigh, Robin was quite alert and spent some quality time looking at and listening to Peter. Granny Suzy also visited, and she read Robin some Winnie the pooh. He seemed quite pleased with all the attention.<\/p>\n
