4 weeks today…

It been 4 weeks now since Robin (literally) burst onto the scene.<\/p>\n

Today was a tricky day: with the wedding of Nicki’s old childhood friend taking up a big chunk of the day, there wasn’t a lot<\/em> of time between ceremony & reception to pay Robin a good long visit.<\/p>\n

Nicki, Peter & Poppy Roy came to SCBU 1 dressed up for the celebration, but since Nicki was still excluding herself, didn’t stay long, especially since Robin was experiencing some desats & wasn’t in a good state to come out for a cuddle at that time.<\/p>\n

It’s always a balance between: wanting to be in contact with Robin, wanting to make sure he gets enough rest (by leaving him alone), giving him the skin-on-skin contact that is so important for development, and making sure he’s breathing & feeding comfortably and regularly.<\/p>\n

Grannie Suzy came after her work & was able to get the celebration card updated.<\/p>\n
