Just a normal day – go to work, do some shopping, have dinner… But it was the calm for the storm…

9am – some cramping pains<\/p>\n

12noon – generally ok<\/p>\n

6pm – grocery shopping<\/p>\n

7pm – Nicki cooks a lamb roast (barefoot & pregnant in the kitchen…)<\/p>\n

8pm – some more cramps (enough to stop Nicki talking), we’re convinced by Suzy to call nurse help line<\/p>\n

9pm – arrive at WCH – fortunately it’s very quiet, so no waiting. The initial consultation goes smoothly, maybe just Braxton Hicks contractions<\/a>, but on examination it turn’s out Nicki already has a slightly dilated cervix…<\/p>\n
