First full day out… in NICU1, cot 3.
\n<\/p>\n

Under the lamps to reduce jaundice. Cools shades on.<\/p>\n

On CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) to help keep lungs a bit open even when breathing out.<\/p>\n

Has Nasogastric tube installed<\/p>\n

Held mum & dad’s fingers for the first time<\/p>\n

Heart echo ultrasound scan done to check for open valve. Couldn’t be heard via stehascope, but found a small opening. Gave Ibuprofen to help close it up.<\/p>\n

First visitor – Granny Suzy.<\/p>\n

Mum changed nappy for the first time ever.<\/p>\n
