A Giant Cuttle at Two Poles - Terrigal, NSW. It was a little annoyed to come face-to-face witha troupe of divers. It tried to fade into the background rocks, but surge kept moving it (and us) around. After a few moments int he spotlight, we left it to its own devices. (3MB)

Something that makes scuba diving so amazing compared to swimming or snorkeling - being inside a huge school of fish that swims all around above and below you. This is a big school of Mado (atypichthys strigatus) at Shelly Beach, NSW, AU. The crackling noise you can hear in the background is made by the fish. (3.3MB)
