Robin is now wearing clothes!
Today Robin wore his first piece of clothing, a special preemie smock. Although he is too small to wear any store bought clothes, the hospital has a group of volunteers that make special smocks for the little ones. They have to have push-studs at the corners to enable the nurses to get the smocks on an off, without disconnecting the IV line in Robins hand.
Robin also had a brain ultrasound today, to check for any bleeds or clots. Although we don’t get the results immediately, Nicki, in her expert medical opinion, did not see anything on the scan to indicate anything other than brain matter. We should get the real results tomorrow.
Nicki also went to the first NICU parents group, held every Tuesday and met some other NICU mums.
