Day 62

Two months old

Uber Oma came to visit today, and had a lovely cuddle with Robin. He was spoilt (again) and received a stuffed strawberry toy and some cute socks from Oma. Lucky boy! Oma was very happy to have a chance to hold her great grandson.

Robin has been going well with suck feeds, particularly with bottle feeds. He has hardly any gavage feeds – apart from one or two overnight. He isn’t going so well with breastfeeding. Some days he is good, other days he just doesn’t want to have a bar of it. Some days, he is fine to suck, but will just let all the milk dribble out of his mouth rather than sucking it. It’s exhausting for Nicki, but she is being patient and tries everyday with him.

Nicki spoke to the dermatologist again today, to give content for some photos of Robins Hemangioma to be taken. It’s just so they can monitor its growth or any changes, like you would do at the doctor with moles etc.

Our buba is two moths old today! We are so happy he is growing and passing all his tests with no complications. He is very healthy, inquisitive and loves looking at things and trying to interact. He puts his hands in his mouth, and likes to bring things close to him with his strong grasp. He is also kicking his feet and legs around, and is pretty good at turning his head. He loves a good bath, and a good fart.
